University of Transport Technology

University of Transport Technology (UTT) is a public university under the Ministry of Transport, established from the former College of Public Works, inaugurated on November 15, 1945. UTT has made significant contributions to the nation's construction and development efforts.

The university has been honored with the title "Hero of Labor" by the State of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam during the reform period; 02 First-class Independence Medals, 02 First-class Labor Medals, and 01 Second-class Freedom Medal from the Lao State, along with numerous other prestigious awards and medals. On November 29, 1961, the university had the privilege of welcoming President Ho Chi Minh during his visit to celebrate the university's remarkable accomplishments across the entire northern region.

UTT is also actively engaged in academic publishing and research. The University of Transport Technology Journal of Science and Technology is a peer-reviewed journal that has been officially indexed in the Scopus database, contributing to the global academic community in the fields of engineering, transportation, and applied sciences.
