GEL provides English instruction at no cost at the newly constructed Lao Cai Orphanage. GEL has also provided some free workshops which help English teachers in the whole province to teach better. There are also some training courses for staff who work in Orphanage to help them have better skills in taking care of children there. Some other free workshops on ABCD (asset based community development) for civil servants of different fields in the province are also provided. Free teaching communication for English teachers in Lao Cai city is now attracting more and more learners. GEL recently hosted International workshop on teaching skill. In July, 2017, our organization coordinated with Ha Noi University, with a government sponsor to train 210 English teachers to help them meet their CEFR English level. GEL is now hosting 3 international volunteers to send them to help teach English at government schools freely in Lao Cai city. With the experience in the above activities, we believe that we can run the project successfully.
