Canada - Vietnam Language Centre

The Canada-Vietnam Language Centre (CVC), the premiere English tuition provider in the northwest region, is now seeking candidates for the position of Full-Time English Teacher. In partnership with the Canadian International School (CIS), we offer a world standard curriculum delivered by internationally qualified teachers. An official IELTS and Cambridge YL testing centre, our courses cater to a range of ages and abilities with a focus on academic rigour and tangible learning outcomes.

Why Lào Cai?

Lào Cai is a largely rural province situated in the mountainous northwest of Vietnam. Covering an area of over 6,000 km2, the region offers a rich cultural mosaic with more than twenty distinct ethnic groups and as many spoken languages.

The city of Lào Cai meanwhile is a rapidly developing provincial capital with a high standard of living that comes without the price tag of Hanoi or HCMC. Here, you’ll find no shortage of bars, restaurants and Western style amenities.

Who can apply?

Candidates with a Bachelor’s degree and CELTA (or an internationally recognised teaching certificate) are encouraged to apply. You should have a demonstrable commitment to professional development in English language teaching and an interest in the northwest region. 2-3 years experience is highly preferable.
